The Cordish Companies' Maryland Live! Casino announced a key appointment to its executive management team, naming Robert Tedesco as senior vp and assistant general manager of the Hanover, MD gaming facility.

"We extend our warmest welcome to Bob as he joins the Maryland Live! team," said Doug Shipley, executive vice chairman and general manager, Maryland Live! Casino. "His extensive background in hospitality and numerous operational skills will serve us well as we enter our next phase of development with the addition of our flagship Live! Hotel." 

In his new role, Mr. Tedesco might be chargeable for the oversight of the day-to-day management and operations of essentially the most successful gaming facility within the Mid-Atlantic region. He also serves at the corporate design and development team for the Maryland Live! expansion project, including the multi-million dollar flagship Live! Hotel, event center and spa. 

Mr. Tedesco brings nearly 30 years of dedicated hands-on management experience within the hospitality industry with deep knowledge in gaming, hotel, food and beverage, facilities, spa and golf operations. He most recently served as Vp and Assistant General Manager of Red Rock Casino Resort and Spa in Las Vegas, where his operational plans and high level of engagement contributed to the day-to-day management and long-term growth of the gaming organization. 

Prior, Mr. Tedesco held senior executive and management positions at Station Casinos, Pinnacle Entertainment, and Hyatt Gaming properties.
