6:08pm: Christos Kachrimanidis eliminated in 16th place (€5,330)

There had a been a slow period of play before Omer Cubukcu departed in 18th place. All tables had seen raises and three-bets but some of the players were taking a long time to make decisions, especially if they ended up folding.
Cubukcu himself took five minutes to fold (showing an ace) after he three-bet a quarter of his stack before being min four-bet. Only a clock call by Marc Radgen nudged him into a decision.
Maybe he should've gone with that ace holding as he was out the very next hand. Remigiusz Wyrzykiewicz raised from the button and called after Cubukcu three-bet all in for 370,000 from the big blind.
Wyrzykiewicz: [ac][ks]

3:55pm: Mras unlucky to Bust from TV table
Jaroslaw Mras got his chips in dominating his opponent but Marc Radgen hit his kicker to take the pot and scalp.
Mras was all in for 336,00 with [ah][kh] and in great shape against Radgen's [ac][qs] but a queen flopped to end his hopes of making the final table.
3:45pm: Wendt and Szafraniec simultaneously
Bartosz Szafraniec and Sven Wendt busted at the same time on two different tables so will split the difference in in prize money seeing there was a jump 24th to 23rd place.

3:15pm: Schulz busts from TV table
Robert Schulz put his tournament life at risk with an open-ended straight draw but he missed to depart in 26th place for €3,640.
He opened from under the gun and was only called by Remigiusz Wyrzykiewicz in the next seat. The flop fanned [9c][tc][ts] and Sculz check-raised all in for 379,000. Wyrzykiewicz had bet 40,000 and made the call with [ks][kc]. Sculz opened [qc][jh] and failed to hit through the [6s][6h] turn and river.
3:10pm: Tzimas the next out
The new level has seen the action levels rise across all tables. Georgios Tzimas got aggressive with a small pair and was soon out the door.
He three-bet all in for 370,000 after a raise to 40,000 from Branislav Ondrus. Call.

Pleijster: [3c][3s]
Kratochvil [5s][5c]
The board ran [3d][qh][ah][2s][6h] to make Pleijster a set.
That put him up to 640,000 but minutes later he was back down to 420,000 after doubling up Ercan Atmaca. All the chips went in pre flop and Pleijster's [ac][9c] failed to come from behind to beat Atmaca's [as][ah]. The board ran [qh][9s][8d][6s][5s].
2:40pm: First player down
It too almost 40 minutes to lose the first players of the day, and the honour went to Bartosz Ziolkowski of Poland.
The action folded around to him in the cutoff and he moved all in for his last 270,000. Josef Gulas was in the small blind and made the call.
Ziolkowski: [qs][jd]
Gulas: [ac][js]
The board ran [6c][4s][3h][2h][tc] to miss both players, meaning Gulas' ace was good.
2:20pm: Cagey start
The action has been slow to start off the day as the players feel each other out. There's yet to be an all at any of the four remaining tables.
Aleksandar Zuberovski came in as one of the short stacks (316k) and even he played a hand cautiously despite flopping top pair.
He raised from the hijack and Hossein Ensan defended his big blind. The board ran out [8c][td][7s][qc][2h] and neither bet until the river where Ensan led for 55,000 with [8c][ac]. Zuberovski called with [kh][th] and took the pot.
