Doyle Brunson Says His Neighbor Was Robbed At Gunpoint, But He Was The Likely TargetNO Deposit bonus $43

Poker legend Doyle Brunson says that he was likely the intended target of an armed robbery that happened down the road from his Las Vegas home late last week.

The 10-time World Series of Poker bracelet winner took to his Twitter account on Friday to mention that he spoke to police, who informed him of the incident.

“A police officer just left my house,” Brunson said. “There was a robbery a couple of doors from my house last night. The robber told the [victim] he knew he was a poker player and got him in his garage. That was probably meant for me. Don’t these idiots know we leave our money on the casinos where we play? He told the victim his cut was purported to be $700,000.”

According to Brunson, there are several poker players who live in his compound within the southwest a part of town, but since the incident happened on his street, he thinks it was likely for him. It wouldn’t was the primary time that somebody tried to rob him.

Brunson continued: “Warning: I carry a pistol with me always. Once I come home I AM GETTING out of my car with a gun in my hand. I'VE a wide variety of silent alarms, motion detectors [and so forth.] Plus, I’m 83 years old, was good with guns all of my life and am unlikely to be robbed again. Five times in my life is enough. So any aspirations of trying had better be reconsidered. The robber got about $500 from his victim and said he was going to kill his informants for giving him the inaccurate house.”

Though he has stopped playing tournaments, even on the World Series of Poker, Brunson remains to be a normal within the largest cash games in Las Vegas.
