Benjamin Zamani Headlines 2016 CPPT Wynn Main Event Heading Into The Final Day

Follow along with live updates from the final day of the Card Player Poker Tour Wynn main event in Las Vegas.

A total of 499 entries were made in the 2016 Card Player Poker Tour Wynn $1,600 no-limit hold’em main event, easily surpassing the $500,000 guarantee to build a total prize pool of $726,045. Now only 20 players remain to battle it out for the title, the trophy and the top prize of $150,662.

156 players returned on day 2, but only the top 50 made the money. The remaining 20 are all now guaranteed at least a $5,445 payday.

Christopher 'C-Unit' StephanThe chip leader going into the final day is Christopher Stephan, who has lead this event from day 1A on. Stephan will enter the final day with 1,398,000.

Notable players still in contention with plenty of chips include 2015 Card Player Player of the Year sixth-place finisher Benjamin Zamani (1,000,000), WSOP bracelet winner Jared Hamby (950,000), Justin Young (629,000), Shawn Sheikhan (552,000) and David Levi (423,000).
