Luxury gaming manufacturer Interblock has named seasoned gaming professional Paul Omohundro as product manager based out of its North American headquarters in Las Vegas.
Omohundro brings over 25 years of sales, marketing, and product management expertise primarily within the gaming industry to Interblock. Most recently, Omohundro served as director of electronic table games for Aruze Gaming America Inc. where he was accountable for direct input to R&D for enhancements, new development, and testing; sales and customer training, and direct sales and marketing, all on a world level. Under his leadership, the active seat footprint greater than doubled in size, while increasing the WPD per seat.
Interblock’s Global Vice chairman of Marketing, Colleen Stanton, said, "Unlike other gaming fields, ETGs have an international shortage of product experts. Adding Paul to our team implies that we will maintain the degrees of quality and growth Interblock customers expect. His expertise will give Interblock an actual edge as we continue to expand our business within the years ahead."
Previous positions held at Aruze include director of western regional sales and director of selling. As marketing director, Omohundro successfully integrated Salesforce CRM, that is now utilized in all aspects of managing Aruze’s product portfolio and transitioned the selling department from fragmented regional operations within the Philippines, Japan, Australia, South Africa and the U.S., to a centralized Global effort.
Prior to Aruze Gaming, Omohundro served because the founder and president of Fairway Gaming LLC, a consulting, and sales company to the gaming industry. Omohundro also served as vp of sales for DEQ Systems Corporation, where he was largely chargeable for the successful commercialization of EZ Baccarat and EZ Trac. He also served as chief operating officer for the DEQ subsidiaries; DEQ-USA and DP Stud Inc.
Considered knowledgeable in his field, Omohundro has appeared at the cover of Casino Enterprise Management, and have been a guest speaker at G2E, Raving’s Table Game Conference, and the UNLV Gaming Institute. Omohundro honorably served his country within the U.s.a. Navy and is an active member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the yank Legion.
