Five things from the week in PokerStarsNO Deposit bonus $43

Five things from this week on PokerStars.

After all of the build-up, the EPT Barcelona festival has come to a detailed. It ended with an improbable finale, one who could make Sebastian Malec probably the most memorable of EPT winners, while the PokerStars Championship dawns.

Malec managed to show €27 into greater than €1.2 million last weekend. However it wasn't just what he did that impressed people, but how he did it, including probably the most memorable last hands of a first-rate Event we will be able to remember, that you would be able to watch here.

Alongside the principle Event ran multiple record breaking side events, everything from the PokerStars Cup (with upwards of 3,000 players), to a really perfect High Roller, and an EPT High Roller with greater than 600 players - another record.

We had live updates from they all in addition to a day-by-day have a look at each step of the primary Event, with images by official EPT photographer Neil Stoddart.

The best live poker action now gives approach to the most efficient online action, with the beginning of the sector Championship of Online Poker this weekend.

Over the most efficient a part of a month they'll be 82 events at the schedule and a guaranteed prize pool of $50 million for the Championship.

The series runs from September 4-26 with the primary Event starting on Sunday, September 25 with an eye-watering $10,000,000 make sure that. makes it probably the most richest poker tournaments of the year.

Another Top 5 video for you this week, this time poker rivalries. Understand that there are a few doozies, but it's Tony G who steals the show who, as we indicate here, could nurture a rivalry in a one man band.

Check out the video below.

The latest episode of the #EPTNotLive podcast is now available. Here is a word from the team, which incorporates a "special performance" of the general hand of the EPT Barcelona Main Event.

"It's a three-way, as Matt joins James and Joe for the second one consecutive week. The men discuss the closing stages of the record-breaking EPT 13 Barcelona festival and their subsequent journeys home. There is a recap of the principle Event final table, including a dramatic re-creation of the epic final hand, plus behind-the-scenes stories involving handshakes (one unwelcome, the opposite avoided).

"Joe talks about meeting some Superfans at a contemporary comedy gig in London, but, sadly, there is no 'Superfan vs Stapes' this week, as a result of indisposition of a long-time listener.

"Finally, a few of your suggestions for a brand new name for the podcast are considered, and mostly rejected. But please keep them coming (there's an incentive!), together with your Superfan applications. #EPTNotLive."

How does this sound for a weekend plan starting in about two or three hours from now?

Finish work - eat something - visit the Hippodrome - play D1C of the UKIPT Super Series (turbo format, starting at 10pm) - bag up chips - go home - sleep - get up - visit the Hippodrome - play D2 - bag up numerous chips - go home - sleep - get up - visit the Hippodrome - win the general table! - have a drink - have another drink (make it champagne this time) - go home - sleep - skip work?

The UKIPT Super Series is underway, with Day 1B already in play. Day 1C however starts tonight at 10pm, meaning if you are in or around London there no reason to feel it's a must to skip it (you too can get the 24 hour London Underground home).

It's an excellent event, held at London's premier poker destination. It could also just change all of your weekend. What's more we now have live updates at the PokerStars Blog for the duration.

That's another week within the books. Good luck to everyone playing on PokerStars this weekend, whether that's in London or online for the beginning of WCOOP. Send your thoughts and comments to us on Twitter: @PokerStarsBlog.
