Leading bookmaker Coral has created its own Sportsbook and completed the migration of its mobile and tablet platform to Coral’s in house developed technology.
The platform was created by a brand new product development team which was established specifically to construct the web site that uses the most recent digital and cloud technologies all designed to deliver a faster and smoother customer experience. The new platform combines the strengths of Coral’s mobile and desktop sites into one simplified, slicker product.
In the last quarter, the bookmaker has migrated all customers and delivered a bunch of recent features including football visualisations, football match results, lottery bets and important improvements within the overall betting experience.
Keith O’Loughlin, Sportsbook director said, “Creating our own technology platform gives us the facility to seriously accelerate our product innovation and it also gives us the versatility to deliver a richer customer experience.
“We have seen strong growth in our Sportsbook over the last quarter, with 80% of stakes coming from mobile. Our Sportsbook revenue was up by 37% to £19.4m. This demonstrates that with market-leading technology and innovative content and features, significant growth will also be achieved.”
Coral’s new platform will result in a more streamlined development pipeline, improved tracking, reporting and analytics, enabling the bookmaker to enhance and personalise the client journey.
With Coral offering betting opportunities on over 1,000,000 markets per week, the brand new Sportsbook platform will provide customers with an ideal way of finding and betting in the marketplace in their choice.
