Sky Betting & Gaming has launched a full eSports betting service including both pre-match and live betting through its partnership with Betgenius.

Betgenius announced the world’s first comprehensive eSports betting service and has already began to sign strategic deals, which will see the sports betting technology leader pave the way for a new revenue stream for betting operators.

According to the recent report by Eilers Research, there’s currently 2.3 million eSports viewers, which is expected to rise to 19.5 million by 2020. The report further claims that the current eSports betting market pulls in revenues of USD$24 million and that by 2020 this will reach USD$1.81 billion worldwide.
