Responsive to the expansion of its Tribal enterprises, the San Manuel Band of Mission Indians announced that former FBI Assistant Director for Counterterrorism and previous Vice chairman of Corporate Security at Target Corporation, Mr. Ralph Boelter, has accepted the location of chief security and risk officer.
With a powerful law enforcement and security background spanning TWENTY YEARS with the FBI that included an assignment as Assistant FBI Director of the Counterterrorism Division, Mr. Boelter will significantly add to our current capabilities within the ever-increasing assessment and prevention of risk. “The chief security and risk officer is a brand new position that reflects the tribe’s overall commitment to safety, security and risk management” said San Manuel Chairwoman Lynn Valbuena. “His duties may also include developing best-in-class protocols for cyber security.”
Boelter holds a Juris Doctorate from Suffolk University Law School, and a Bachelor of Public Administration in Criminal Justice. He also attended the distinguished FBI National Executive Institute in Quantico, VA, which was described by the FBI Academy because the “FBI Director’s own program and because the crown jewel of the FBI’s executive training initiatives.”
