World Poker Tour champ Brian Altman took down the overall international event at the World Series of Poker Circuit's 2015-16 season, at Casino de Montreal in Canada. The tournament drew 520 entries for the $1,675 Main Event, making a prize pool of $618,508, and Altman took home $132,979 for first.

For Altman, the money was second only to his victory at WPT Lucky Hearts Poker Open last February for $723,008. It pushed his lifetime total to $1,504,038. He didn't rest on his laurels afterward though; the Massachusetts native shipped right on over to WPT Canadian Spring Championship, where he finished 16th for $10,447.

Unfortunately, live updates weren't available for the development. But one of the most players some of the 54 making it into the cash included Mike Wang (46th), Carter Swidler (39th), Darryll Fish (34th), Jason Lavallee (22nd), and previous WSOP Main Event champ and high roller extraordinaireJonathan Duhamel (13th).
