Nevada casinos won $922,272,002 from gamblers through the month of March, consistent with figures released Thursday by state gaming regulators.
The nonrestricted gaming licensees won $951,187,038 in March of 2015.
Of the $922,272,002, a complete of $486,821,877 came from the Las Vegas Strip. Gaming win there has been down from March 2015’s $506,867,800.
Regulators added that for the fiscal year (July 1, 2015 through March 31, 2016), gaming win has increased only one percent.
Nevada casinos won $11.1 billion from gamblers in 2015, which was a rise of 0.87 percent in comparison to 2014.
Nevada’s largest casinos had total revenue of nearly $24.6 billion in fiscal year 2015, probably the most in seven years. Statewide gaming revenue during FY 2015 was $10.6 billion, or 43.2 percent of total revenue. Consistent with University of Nevada Las Vegas research, that percentage was a historic low.
