Pennsylvania poker rooms raked just over $5 million through the month of April, in step with figures released by state gaming regulators Monday.
That was up from the greater than $4.8 million raked during April 2015. Poker rake was nearly $4.6 million in April 2014.
Pennsylvania had 226 poker tables this past April, which was unchanged from March.
Since mid-2010, when the primary table games debuted within the Keystone State, poker rooms there have raked nearly $334 million. There are currently 10 in Pennsylvania.
Here’s at take a look at Pennsylvania poker site revenue thus far in 2016:

February: $5,145,025
March: $5,166,167
April: $5,019,180
For comparison, Nevada poker revenue (live and online) was slightly below $9.7 million in March, the newest monthly figures available. That quantity was nearly unchanged year-over-year. The Silver State has roughly 660 live poker tables.
New Jersey poker revenue (live and online) was roughly $5.4 million in April. The Garden State had 208 live poker tables throughout the month. Some great news for the Atlantic City poker market is that the Trump Taj Mahal re-opened its storied poker site this month.
In order to strengthen its casino gambling market, Pennsylvania next month will check out legalizing and regulating online casino games, including poker.
