DraftKings Merger with FanDuel DiscussedNO Deposit bonus $43

Draft Kings ClearDraftKings CEO Jason Robins said that a possible merger between his company and FanDuel is a “very interesting idea” that could add value for shareholders and supply customers with a greater service at a greater cost.

But he declined to rate the possibilities of it happening after recent reports of merger discussions between the 2 daily fantasy sports rivals.

“I don’t really have a lot more insight into how likely or probably not that will be,” Robins told USA TODAY Sports Saturday. “I certainly haven’t changed my view on how interesting it is.”

United as one or not, Robins still said he sees a clearer path forward for both now that the brand new York legislature passed a bill that legalizes and regulates daily fantasy sports. The bill cleared the brand new York senate early Saturday and can become law pending the signature of Gov. Andrew Cuomo, whose office provided input at the bill’s text.

It marked an enormous development for both companies after being declared illegal gambling operations in different states since October. Upon Cuomo’s signature, Robins said they may begin operating in Ny within 24 hours, getting back on their feet in that state following a crippling battle with Eric Schneiderman, the state’s attorney general.
