A resident of a senior apartment complex in Wyoming killed two people, including himself, over a poker game in a standard area, consistent with another resident.
According to The Washington Post, authorities say that 77-year-old Larry Rosenberg shot three people on the Heritage Court Apartments in Cheyenne on Wednesday. One of the crucial victims died, while Rosenberg fled and later killed himself while being pursued by police.
The condition of the opposite two victims isn’t currently known.
One resident told the Wyoming Tribune Eagle that Rosenberg had long been upset in regards to the poker game that ran 3 times every week. He and a few other residents were unhappy that the games involved nonresidents, who sometimes slept there.
Rosenberg and others reportedly had stated their opinion at the poker games at a resident meeting, nevertheless it apparently didn’t impact curbing the games, reports said.
“If they'd kept that damned poker game out of the building, [the shooting] wouldn’t have happened,” 80-year-old resident Mary Eastman said. "THAT MAY BE my honest opinion.”
