Of the 305 players who made up the unique field of the France Poker Series Mazagan Sunfest, only 106 made it back for Day 2. Play then continued for ten hours before the sphere was slashed all the way down to just 11 survivors, who will play to a winner later today.
The total prize pool of is 3,579,785 dirhams (€320,045) and 48 players are being paid. Spare a thought for Helen Riahi, who was the last woman standing but went out at the bubble. Of the large name Team PokerStars Pros who entered, Bertrand 'ElkY' Grospellier went out within the first few orbits of yesterday.
