A man driving a Ford F-150 drove in the course of the front entrance of the Stratosphere Casino-Hotel on Wednesday night in Las Vegas.
The man entered the valet after which just veered right, crashing during the doors.
According to witnesses, the driving force was not likely in a rush to get to the casino’s 16-table poker site. Though, that may be a greater reason than what we will be able to ascertain these days about what was at the man’s mind.
From the Las Vegas Sun:
After crashing in the course of the doors, the driving force climbed out of his truck “like nothing happened,” as tourist Barbara Sailer, a school student visiting from Nitra, Slovakia, said. One witness said the motive force exited the truck and “just started swinging,” scuffling briefly with a bunch of male hotel guests before being corralled by hotel security. Another witness, declining to be named, said, “He got out of that truck, and he was angry.”
The driver was taken away by police. Fortunately, no person was hurt within the incident.
The incident shouldn’t faze the casino, however. Just last month, the parent company of the Stratosphere announced that its second quarter revenue was $89.4 million, up 1.1 percent from the second one quarter of last year. Sin City as a complete is constant its winning streak.
The company said in a press release that the rise was driven by hotel and food and beverage revenue, Vegas Inc reported.
