UConn fan out $100,000 bracket as it never saved

Corey Johnson, a lifelong UConn fan, should have been jumping for joy when his Huskies took home the national title. Not just did his boys win, but on account of their victory he netted himself $100,000 within the Yahoo!-Quicken Loans Billion Dollar Bracket Challenge. Unfortunately for Johnson, something went wrong.

His pick never saved.

"I picked a winner. I picked UConn to overcome Kentucky, after which I submitted it,” Johnson explains to USA Today. Johnson contacted Yahoo! and, not shockingly to him, he didn't receive the money.

"What am I going to inform them?” he talked about. 'This is my bracket. Am i able to pick a winner?' They’re going to be like, 'No, buddy,'" explains Johnson.
